Thompson Patent Law Client’s Invention Garners Positive Press

Back Safe System

Thompson Patent Law client Jovan Palmieri’s invention, the Back Safe System, is featured in the Minneapolis – St. Paul StarTribune and FOX 9 News. Jovan, a St. Paul firefighter, driver and paramedic was looking for a better way for emergency vehicles to avoid backup accidents. Jovan worked with students at Minnesota State University, Mankato to develop the system. The students built a working prototype of his invention as a senior design project by electrical engineering students. Craige Thompson set up the collaboration between Jovan and the University.
